FOUNDER OF WIN WIN SCIENTIFIC
Creator and Editor of InterSECT, Scientific Trainer, and Invited National Speaker
Thi Nguyen's journey was driven by her passion for helping others find their place in the science ecosystem, and her knack for strategic career planning. As a PhD neuroscientist and virtual learning consultant, she leveraged her experience and background to create resources, videos, and workshops to guide professionals in telling their stories and presenting their authentic professional selves.
PLANT SCIENTIST AND EDUCATOR

Taylor is a multi-passionate science and communication enthusiast. She holds a doctorate in Plant and Microbial Biosciences from Washington University in St. Louis. Taylor enjoys community outreach, teaching, and creating educational materials for all ages. She is also passionate about digital content creation in various forms. In her free time, you can find her crafting lifestyle blogs, reading thrillers, or thrifting.

What We Do
We facilitate learning experiences in strategic planning, storytelling, and science communication. We work with universities, foundations, non-profits, and K-12 schools to fill their educational and professional development goals and deliver inclusive and culturally-responsive one-off workshops and multi-week programs focused on supportive community building and experiential activities.

We work with research groups and training programs to develop workshops , facilitate trainings, and provide coaching specifically tailored for researchers (faculty, postdocs, and grad students). We specialize in inclusive storytelling, engaging and equitable education, and supportive and strategic career transitions.

We love teaching and learning at all ages and have worked with K-12, community college, and universities to support teaching efforts, develop lesson plans, and get funding and resources for classrooms to help teachers do what they do best.

We work with non-profits, schools, and universities to create community-focused educational programs in bioscience skill development, urban agriculture and nutrition, environmental action and storytelling. We develop curricula, create multimedia resources, and deliver train the trainers. Our speciality is bridging community partners and educational institutions to create a win-win partnership.

We provide mentoring and mentoring frameworks for professionals at all stages from early career scientists to professors. We have designed and implemented mentoring programs and courses at several universities across the U.S. We also advise on a cross-African mentoring program for scientists.
